SATs Prep, Years 5 and 6

Affordable tuition for all, led by a fully qualified and highly experienced Y6 teacher. Sessions are led by Elizabeth Lavelle and bring together a vast variety of content to cover the full curriculum for GPS, Reading and Mathematics, with sessions planned to address misconceptions and concerns for writing too.

Your child can access this for just £2 per session.

6.30 - 7.00 - Mathematics: Arithmetic (Paper 1)

7.15 - 7.45 - Mathematics: Reasoning (Paper 2)

 

Wednesday

6.30 - 7.00 - Reading Comprehension - direct focus

7.15 - 7.45 - GPS - General Practise (Paper 1)

 

Thursday

4.30 - 5.00 - Reading Comprehension - VIPERS

5.00 - 5.30 - GPS - Spelling (Paper 2)

 

Friday

4.30 - 5.30 - Y5 prep across core subjects in readiness for Y6

 

Closer to SATs time, sessions will run on a Sunday and during test week, sessions are planned to look ahead to papers the following day.

 

Around these group sessions, a number of 1:1 sessions take place with children ranging from 3 years - 15 years. Elizabeth works with a variety of SEND needs, including autism, dyslexia and ADHD.
